The Brigham story

The building site was once the Brigham Ice Cream factory - The tradition of Brigham’s began in 1914 when Edward L. Brigham – known for his generous portions and closely guarded secret recipe – became a neighborhood hero for serving ice cream made in the back room of his store. For more than nine decades, the Brigham’s name has been a favorite and resonates with New Englanders as well as visitors to the area. Brigham’s has earned a place in the lives and traditions of New Englanders - the country’s leading consumers of ice cream, and Alta Brigham Square is the perfect place to remind residents that the quality, good feeling and fantastic service they came to know from the Brigham Ice Cream store will be the same experience they will have at Alta Brigham Square.

    Please note: we are located in the back of Mill St. In order to get to our property please turn to Mill St. and take Millbrook Rd. Make the first right turn and you will find yourself in our parking lot.

    From Boston Logan International Airport head Southwest. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Massachusetts 1A S/State Hwy 1A S. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Massachusetts 1A S/Interstate 93 N/Sumner Tunnel/Gov't Center and merge onto Massachusetts 1A S/State Hwy 1A S. Take the exit toward I-93 N. Keep left at the fork and merge onto I-93 N. Take exit 31 for Massachusetts 16/Mystic Valley Pkwy toward Arlington. Merge onto Mystic Valley Pkwy. Turn right onto Winthrop St. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto High St. Continue onto Summer St. Turn left onto Mill St. Take a right onto Millbrook Rd and take the first right.
